Inspired by his many years of international experience, Gundolf Thoma has developed the unique learning method ' Ski in a Day ' durften! This concept has now been extended to 2 days.
The learning goal in 2 days is to improve the readiness to move, turns with parallel ski position, turn changes with pole use as well as speed control. In addition, first descents in steeper terrain will be completed.
Sequence of events:
Day 1:
Based on a detailed familiarization with the unfamiliar material, exercises are performed on the flat at the beginning in order to simulate all relevant movement sequences of skiing in a standing position.
In the second half of the day, the participants learn how to ski on the lift. According to experience, this is the "crux" of the day, which is taught with a lot of patience and empathy by our ski instructors. At the end of the day, rhythm exercises are used to consolidate skiing in plow turns on easy slopes.
A lift ticket for the Resi lift is required in the afternoon.
Day 2:
After a successful first part of the ' Ski in two Day's ' our trained ski instructors* will focus on improving plow turns. In addition, first descents in steeper terrain will be completed. The focus on the second day will be on improving the readiness to move, turns with parallel ski position, turn changes with pole use as well as speed control. At the end of the second day, we plan to take the Seebuck chairlift to the top of the Feldberg and enjoy the descent from 1493 meters above sea level.
One lift ticket is required for the whole ski area on day 2.
